This exciting toolkit explores the competency curriculum proposed by the QCA to develop skills for employability known as personal, learning and thinking skills (PLTS). It is a new model of learning for KS3 which creates self-motivated young people who achieve their full potential via active, independent, student-led learning. It features a detailed introduction to PLTS; case studies; teacher’s notes; four projects with 30 activities; 7 student-led projects; and a ‘tracker pack’, for students to track their progress.
