This eBook is presented in five sections, reflecting the five outcomes of the Every Child Matters (ECM) agenda.
It will enable schools to ensure the delivery of each outcome at a very practical level. In this sense, it is a unique resource as other publications offer more theoretical and whole-school approach as opposed to a series of practical resources.
There is an introductory training session for school-based staff (PowerPoint, facilitator’s notes and activities) which summarises the legislation and background while also introducing the contents of the programme for KS2-3.
There are also opportunities for staff to trial some of the student resources and reflect upon how they might further develop these ideas and strategies across the curriculum.
