Inbox tells the story of a young girl called Susan who moves schools and becomes friends with a boy. The two soon start dating and are a happy couple. However a jealous ex-girlfriend decides to play a prank on Susan which leaves her so frightened she runs away from home. The threatening emails were meant to be a joke but Susan doesn’t return and nobody finds it funny.
The strong storyline of this DVD raises awareness of cyber safety and illustrates the dangers of using the internet and mobile phones. Pupils are encouraged to discuss these issues and generate their own ideas on how to be cyber safe.
