Mum and Dad are Separating

An invaluable programme that provides information about grief and the changes that many families encounter through family separation, both externally (moving house) and internally (the grief cycle). It is designed to be simple and straightforward. Comprises three elements:
• 176-page Guidebook – for therapists, parents and other relatives on how to support a grieving child through family breakdown. This section addresses grief at different developmental ages, strategies for supporting a grieving child, how to tell children about separation and more
• 20-page Storybook – to help younger children (aged 4-12 years) to understand, separation, grief and the changes that occur during family breakdown
• CD Rom Workbook – reproducible and split into two parts for younger and older children, with practical activities to help them process their thoughts, feelings, needs and reactions to separation.

Mum and Dad are Separating is simple, easy-to-read and specifically designed for family separation. It is based on issues and questions presented during post-separation counselling, and provides the tools and strategies needed to help both children and adults to ‘work through’ separation.
