Parenting Game
Description
This board game has been developed by the PSHE teams and students from Leon School and Sports College in Milton Keynes and has been hugely successful when used with whole tutor groups. It encourages students to discuss different values and attitudes to being a parent with follow-up discussion questions enclosed in the materials.
The playing cards run through from conception, the new baby, to teenagers, with a variety of scenarios which students are then able to discuss within their group. Also helps players to reflect on their own experiences with their parents from a different perspective. Well structured interactive material suitable for groupwork for up to six players which will encourage constructive thought about life-changing issues.
