A Pocket Full of Posies DVD

Dealing with death and sudden loss in school, this DVD resource is designed for all teaching staff. Produced by Educational Psychologists who have supported school staff in Kent dealing with sad events and crisis situations over a number of years, this DVD will:
• Raise awareness of needs of children with grief and loss
• Introduce issues around supporting staff in crisis situations
• Look at the sort of things you need to address when developing a school policy
• Work through a scenario to prompt discussion of issues that your school will need to consider
• Explore some ways in which Educational Psychology Services can help
• Look at support systems developed in Kent
• Demonstrate how Kent has developed a Crisis Support Policy and Accreditation Procedure to guide the training of staff with children and families in these situations.
