Raising Attendance DVD & CD Rom - Primary

This DVD learning and development package will:
• Highlight the importance of school attendance and the most important factors that influence attendance rates
• Identify the ways in which a school can encourage attendance, including ways to motivate young people to achieve excellence
• Identify the ways in which a school can minimise absenteeism, and address the issue of lateness
• Demonstrate how schools can encourage excellent attendance through its links with each young persons' home and the wider community.

Modules cover:
• Missing school - missing out
• Encouraging excellent attendance
• Preventing absenteeism involving the school, home and community
• Case studies.
