Story Teller CD Rom

Story Teller goes to the heart of the creative process by encouraging children to be spontaneously imaginative. The process is simple: children choose the story they want to tell and have 27 different themes to choose from - adventure to fairytale, family to funny - and over 4,000 pictures including dinosaurs, Egyptians, myths and Vikings.

Using their computer the child or group of children then record their story until they are ready for another picture. When the story is finished you can save it and play it back with the pictures. If you want to, you can use the built-in listen-and-type screen which lets you play back the story, pause it and type it out.

This programme is ideal for:
• A warm up for creative writing
• Helping hesitant writers with their blank page phobia
• Children for whom English is a second language
• Anyone struggling with learning and writing difficulties.

The programme will run on Windows 95 to Vista or Mac OSX with Windows.
