Telling Tales

This book explains the importance of emotional literacy in learning and how it can be developed through storytelling. The book is based round the five SEAL principles of:
• Self-awareness
• Managing emotions
• Motivation
• Empathy
• Social competence.

Part two of the book describes some methods to help children tell and create stories. Part three is a collection of traditional folk tales with some useful further reading.
