Designed to teach how to give excellent customer service as well as how to handle difficult and abusive customers. In the course of the game, players learn a total of 10 customer service skills.
They learn, for example, the importance of staying within their authority, when to get help from a supervisor, the necessity of always treating customers with respect (even when the customer is being disrespectful), etc.
They apply these skills in the game by giving advice to Linda, a new employee, as she faces a variety of challenging situations. Their advice focuses on how to use the skills, proper tone of voice, and body language.
